The who's who of the Black community gathered in Gary, Indiana for the Black Political Convention.
Some 10,000 delegates showed up to create an agenda for change going forward, and was the height of the Black Power Era
As a generational native Georgian— maternal & paternal — unrealistic pie-in-the-sky/ fashionable non voting, isn't a practical, respectful, proactive option. Lewis & 60s advocates, didn't have a 'perfect' candidate. They chose the best option & built on that. NONE of US are BETTER than THEM ✊🏾#Ossoff
