like yeah i can argue all day about how she’s super mentally strong for surviving an eternity of solitude etc. but to me, her journey of recovery and adaptation is more… relatable? human? idk.
tl;dr i like my oc and what she represents. maybe scrunkly is just a manifestation of the strength i admire

i think in a way, all my characters’ stories revolve around resolving or learning to live with trauma, big or small. but i always feel like scrunkly accepting her sudden disability, rebuilding her life with it in mind and finding a way back to her passion despite it is inspiring to me

her life before the flood was dedicated to healing others, and the violent warp in aether just completely fucked her up and stole that away from her. and yet the first thing she does upon recovering the bits of personality she held on to is to find a way to heal again.

on the topic of my lore project actually: every time i think about scrunkly’s lore for two seconds i can’t help but admire her. she’s my most lighthearted and lovable character i think, but realistically, she really has world’s strongest mental and willpower.

remembered my little lore project from a year ago…. reading back what i wrote and changing a couple things here and there sparked joy. thankfully i made a project plan with tasks, their details & their estimated workload so it shouldn’t be hard to get back into lol

i know exactly what you’re talking about. i left a positive comment because i thought the gpose was cute & thought the caption was sort of a playful self-aware comment. but seeing how hurtful it really was, i can’t help but feel rly bad for not recognizing it and completely misreading the situation.

maybe we all just need a bit of scrunkly’s whimsy in these trying times… (thank you for the input!!)
