In case you all were worried, we got back to Chicago last night. Forgot to post because I was so tired lol.

Our cats have been all over us with affection, and all is well ❤️

Update:

More restaurants have opened (thank god). We got some delicious tacos from a lady who is out here saving lives lol.

A lot of flights have been canceled or delayed, but a few people have now boarded!

Don't know what's going on, but we're still stuck here. The first few flights were supposed to depart a few minutes ago, & nobody's boarded yet.

My partner & I got maybe 2 hours of broken sleep sitting up.

Only 3 shops are open, they're packed.

No one is reporting on anything.

As far as we know, no civilians have been harmed. It's just am annoying shitshow lol

Of course the US news is saying the cartels are taking hostages from the airport in Guadalajara.

Except im literally here. Right now. Been here all day, trying to get my flight rescheduled. And cartel members never entered the airport.

I'm so tired of lies.
