Is there a risk of this being a birds I see on my balcony page? Yes. But look at this little dude!!! He has been very camera shy but I finally caught a pic, he's a red bellied woodpecker. And I love him. Don't tell my boyfriend.

I'm a little bit obsessed with the grackles. They're like shimmery crows (yes, I know they aren't corvids, but they're so pretty!).

I almost bought a bird watchers journal today, but decided my Merlin app is sufficient. 😂
