It's tough. What I can say is that there fediverse alternatives for things like Instagram (called Pixelfed), and alternatives to X (Mastodon), but facebook is one of those things where it's like.. can we go back to email? Or better yet PHONE calls?

Today, a friend and I finished Phase 5 of Satisfactory. It is done. And now we are moving into the next phase: Mods. Absolutely thrilled to see the Mod Manager has an AppImage.

Our Voice Preview now thinks it is a pirate and can answer any questions asked. Granted the responses are from a pirate perspective but it made me laugh that it told me to tell my shopping list to a parrot as they are good listeners.
Lost the entire day to setting up Home Assistant. Solar panels, batteries, gas/electric, outside house camera system, calendars, mealie, and more Voice Preview fun.
Day 4 of Advent of Code done. Reminds me of last year interestingly.
Day 4 of Advent of Cyber done. Really enjoyed messing around with Atomic Red Team. Not played with it before. Gonna have to do their room on it because it's interesting.
