I'm both mad and disappointed.
When another session of rolling dice and talking in funny voices with friends around a table ends, and you can't wait for the next one.
Just to give an update.
I am personally fine from the storms that blew through last night. Didn't see the worst of it.
I was nowhere near the tornadoes that touched down last night.
"No sleep for you!" - The DM probably.

And here's a fun tip.
Bryce Dallas Howard directed one of the episodes of the Mandalorian. In it Mando has to do a re-entry. The way it's shot pays homage to her dad's work, Ron Howard, with Apollo 13.

No saves.
No nothing.
Boom. Tired.
Part of the fun of BG3 is running with character concepts. Especially if you lack a game to play in, and just want to vibe. It's why it's so easy to just make a new character.
Such as Sasha here, a tiefling fighter/bard.
Taking a deep breath as the Barbarian rage intensifies.
Opened up my bag to get my tablet.
It wasn't there, so I had a mini heart attack.
Then I looked up to my desk, and remembered I put it there.

Did my usual ritual of going to a coffee shop on Saturdays to do some session prep.
Apparently the barista made my order wrong initially (ice vs hot), and caught it before calling my name. She remade it and now I have two latte's, ๐.
Seriously that was so kind. Didn't have to do it.

She wanted to play a board game, and brought out this.
Well, time to make some coffee, ๐
Huh.
Rooting for Nintendo in a lawsuit was not on my bingo card but here we are.
When the player with main character syndrome gets humbled.
Some of my favorite moments as a DM are when I just get to sit back and watch my players roleplay. Be it a serious moment or something straight out of Monty Python.
Watching a story unfold before you. Especially one that you're telling together will always be special
Oops, I made another Tiefling. My bad.
And you know in that moment, the DM was planning a sand based encounter.
It's been a long winter.
So finally hearing a Robin's call outside my window was very welcome this morning.
