Low-key probably gonna bow out of it completely. Haven't had motivation to do it in a while and a big factor is just the sheer amount of troubleshooting necessary to figure out mod incompats, decrypting half assed docs, and solving the ancient mysteries of java performance.

After having done modpack development for Minecraft for the longest time, and then just now learning game dev, I can tell you one thing for sure: Game dev is way easier the developing modpacks lmao, holy moly.

Im already trying to decentralize my online existence. Idc if Im spread out between IRC, Matrix and Fluxer. One company having all of our convos and data never goes well.

I want Fluxer to succeed bc it plans to offer features we can only dream of Discord offering, like self hosting, Federation and, I think people will like these two: Channel favorites and built in CSS theme editing.

Plus, Fluxer's "nitro" doesn't apply to self host, and hosts can customize premium
