A large Regency house. Two sisters named Emilia and Charlotte talk on an upper floor. You are awesome and work in one of London’s most iconic buildings. Nothing is as glamorous in real life as in our imaginings but when I go to evensong as an occasional attender I do think “Anna’s in charge of all their books up that winding staircase”!

They’re not. You’re comparing your inside knowledge of yourself with wha they show to the world.

e.g. I have a stinking cold but my Instagram is all about the books I’m reading / listening to. I don’t mention the stinking cold or the Friday night plans I’ve had to cancel so not to spread the germs

It’s hard to compare because our reactions to being barked at vary according to who is doing it, our past history (with them and other people), the importance of the thing we’re being told to (not) do.

The issue is you experience being controlled / coerced. Personally I’d chat to my GP about it.
