It was great seeing friends and meeting newcomers at the Clearwater Senior Center for National Senior Citizens Day! Many thanks to the Director Ives for organizing another great day at the senior center. I hope everybody enjoyed the pulled pork and baked beans!

Trump has repealed the Equal Employment Opportunity Order—Pavinh the way to LEGALIZE 🏳️🌈 discrimination. The EEO order was signed by President Lyndon B Johnson in 1965. It prohibited discrimination on the basis of race, color, sex, national origin, and religion in federal jobs. This is NOT the same thing as the Equal Employment Opportunity Act of 1972, which prohibits such discrimination in the private sector. 1/2
Notably, Trump has directed the AG to reverse its enforcement of the Supreme Court ruling in Bostock v. Clayton County GA (2020) which held that firing an employee based on sexual orientation or gender identify was illegal under the Civil Rights Act. Finally, Trump has repealed the EEOCs guidance on workplace harassment. This all comes after Trump has issued orders to shut down all DEl initiatives in his jurisdiction.
