Btw, we've been sharing reviews all morning, but a lot have spoilers in them! TR-49 is best experienced as it presents itself. Set yourself 2 hours.
Curl up with an iPad or Deck, if you can. Have a pen handy if you like: definitely a cup of tea, so it can go cold.

Personal life? Past? Felixe side steps that shit in his sleep
Felixe mostly misses his study and some of his stuff and his usual lifestyle more than what I tend to think of as homesickness.
In case you missed it: inkle's next game will be out in less than two weeks.
If our account disappears between then and now, this trailer is why.
A day late but here's a little snippet featuring Jones (the player character), Felixe, and Professor Osbourne!
A version of this is available in my demo on itch, but I've now removed references to The Magnus Archives and changed around some variables and such.
Probably something in the vein of relying on/trusting others and not cutting people off at the first sign of real conflict.
To be fair, it was a kinda big conflict in the canon of our campaign.
One day I will get to that point in the IF I'm writing and you can see if it happens to your Felixe, too!

Felixe is well off enough to own a small house in a relatively small college town and an older car. He lucked out that his books sell well and he's able to spend all of his time working on them.
Again, initially a self-insert character so there was more than a little wish fulfillment lol
Felixe would want to do something low-key. Maybe dinner at a nice but not Nice nice restaurant, and/or a personally meaningful present, just something kinda small and intimate.
Maybe do a weekend getaway to do some sight seeing or something for a big milestone.
Felixe tends to be a pretty practical thinker so I think he'd weigh the pros and cons and probabilities of achieving the goal. He's not one to give up quick, but he's less likely to fight for something he deems to be a lost cause without convincing external encouragment
The prejudice other characters have against Felixe is one of the major themes of Caedes lol
He does not deal with it well. Big on the "do not talk about feelings and cut people off before they can cut you off" sorta guy
This is mainly about Caedes, but I would also like to get back to Change Your Fae. I just have to decide if I still want to make it into a visual novel and just find a bunch of placeholders with the hope I can hire an artist or more later or translate it into Ink
