I wish I had photos of my visit to an abandoned sanitarium in Tuscaloosa, AL in 1984. Your pics bring back such stark memories of that day. Utterly chilling.

The white building was not a strategically significant part of the nuclear facility. It was used for ventilation for the deeply buried nuclear complex... which was imploded. So, a standing HVAC building with nothing to HVAC is a pointless target.
