We are looking for undeniably true statements today, and my best offer is: There is a lot of good in the world, in all of us, but good is very easily manipulated.

One of the things we’re experiencing right now that makes all this worse is narrative rupture. The stories most of us have told ourselves abt this country are (& have been) plainly wrong. In the absence of new stories that reflect actual reality, what we get is stasis.

The Constitution of America needed to have fairness, equility and freedom in order to work. Those "universal" values of good.

Now America, as we are finding out is anything but that. But it still remains that those values were the ones we bought into, that held people together in belief. Not evil.

They rely on our good to keep order. We've been manipulated in so many ways. Even now, questioning if anything is good is an effect of that manipulation. Definitely don't doubt yourself.

You do know what is good and what is evil. Good makes your soul sing and never adversely affected anyone.

Man is good i can prove it. If you are questioning everything you know, like many of us are doing, think of this. One of the systems we run on is trust and tolerance, and those are good. We have good in abudence, but inorder for them to do the evil they've done they had to leech on that good.

And that isn't an unreasonable wish either. The US being the strongest country on earth, being the supplier of Israels arms. The US being a sovreign nation, except of course it has proved it isn't.

I'm going to say this once:

People were not needing Kamala to stop the genocide, they were waiting to hear acknowledgement of a genocide or pledge a commitment to do something/anything. It was the bare minimum, and neither of which Kamala Harris could do. Curious place for "defenders of freedom".

Trump, not that he really cares, is doing such a good job at keeping the war Ukraine going that we are probably in a situation where even if/when Russia needed/wanted and end they'd have to keep fighting.

The Right should shut their trap holes for anothers 20 years, they've done enough damage. Starmer, actually made a decision. Even if he had wanted to, his weak government following Mad Trump would have been suicidal. For the UK, even more isolating.

Well, i am currently running under the theory that America is dead and the Epstein class has killed it. We just haven't fully accepted yet.

So for these children, permanent scarres might be a lucky escape.
