Our 1st public testimony hearing last night had a great turnout and gave the Councilors a lot of important information. We invite you again to share your thoughts on Tuesday March 24th at 6pm on how the FY27 Boston Operating Budget and Boston Public Schools Operating Budget should be spent.

Another Boston snow day! This morning Councilor Weber stopped by the DPW Yard in West Roxbury to thank road crew and the office support staff who, by 6am this morning, had 100 trucks out salting and plowing our neighborhood.
A cold weather emergency has been declared in the City of Boston from Saturday, February 7, through Monday, February 9. Wind chills are expected to reach as low as -15°F during this time. This morning Ben visited English HS to recognize AP Comp Sci students Christian and Eric for winning 1st place in the Museum of Science Hackathon. They used technology to research + propose a multicultural green space that is welcoming to the community. These young men are certainly future leaders!

We are so grateful for the amazing community of JP. Today, JP Fights Back presented 4 local programs with over $4000 to combat food insecurity. These funds were raised through a neighborhood leafleting campaign in Nov that brought out 200+ volunteers. A true testament to the power of community.
