Amazing story here. Give it a read.
Oooh... That's a beauty!
Hey, I know that guy.
Dropped by Proctors tonight to find out all about the 2026-27 season. The Schenectady theater's celebrating its 100th anniversary this year! Check out TimesUnion.com soon to find out what's coming to Proctors and Capital Rep this theater season. It's kind of a big deal.
I heard he'll be in full Wolverine costume at the show!

(Okay, I did not actually hear this.)
I want this cover art on my wall. It's gorgeous.
It felt important that the weather warmed up enough today to melt the snow and open a path to view this memorial on International Women's Day.
Best wishes to all who celebrate!
Fun thing to think about very briefly: who currently has better lawyers, the United States or Nintendo
Brilliant.
Made a new friend today.
Goals.
Seconded! (Or fourthed, given the comments so far.)
Art is a window. Art is a voice.

This is a short clip from my interview w/ Matthew Morrison. It was a nice chat about everything mentioned here & we also talked a bit about fatherhood outside of the formal interview (his son was in the room w/ him, acting a lot like my son does), which was an unexpected, heartwarming bonus.
There's a Republican president waging a sketchy war in the Middle East and Britney Spears getting arrested is the top story in entertainment news. Time really is a flat circle.
I cracked three teeth pole-vaulting while wearing women's track shoes.
We could all use some news that's a joy to read.
This is the original art from an October 2002 editorial cartoon that former @timesunion.com cartoonist John DeRosier gave me when I helped him bring a bunch of his work home from the newsroom a few months ago. It's pinned to my desk here now. The more things change...
Had a really nice chat w/ Matthew Morrison ahead of his stop in Saratoga this week about his new show, returning to Broadway, parenting, and of course, Glee. You can read the full interview at @timesunion.com here:
This is actually pretty accurate.
Cool new show in Troy: "The work begins in the foyer of Paine Mansion, after which the audience scatters to follow the actors to one of four staging areas. The mansionβs towering wooden pocket doors close and performances ensue before the ritual repeats, mimicking the cyclical nature of history."
I think about this Tony Benn speech much more than I used to
I've been fortunate to interview Bruce twice, and both conversations were the sort that defy the old "never meet your heroes" adage. Funny, friendly, smart and sincere, Bruce is every bit the person you hope he is. This news sucks.

This is my Patterson-Gimlin film.
