The disco era was weird. I was a teen age dirtbag in the long ago. There were absolute bangers ("Turn The Beat Around" just kicks so hard), then stuff like disco duck & disco star wars happened including weirdness like this from a virtuoso & it made dance music cheesy until new wave.
As a stupid, teenage, punk rock enthusiast, I bought this & found it to be sub-par in the fast, dumb & loud genre I was chasing... but I was more impressed with the Sex Pistol's first release than the Clash's first release. So, what does that tell you?

I saw this tour. May '78 Palladium NYC, late show. Rockpile opened. Mink Deville opened. Wille Deville played "Mixed Up Shook Up Girl" & he was so cool. EC & the Attractions show up at 2 am & he's pissed that we ain't jumping around for them. Dude, I'm tired & that's what I remember from that show.
