Mon avis très personnel : C'est pensé pour légitimer le jeu vidéo et le placer au même niveau que le cinéma avec les Césars. C'est d'abord pensé pour les médias et un public extérieur à l'industrie, et éventuellement ça fait plaisir aux patrons/devs qui y accordent une quelconque importance.
