Oh gosh, this sounds horrendous, hang in there! We're just starting an internal complaint with our housing association and really hope they pull their finger out it doesn't come to this. But why does everything with housing have to be so bloody difficult!

This makes me angry on so many levels!

First, when has Pixar ever shied away from emotive subjects before?

Second, blaming it on kids is rubbish. This is about saving homophobic parents.

I can't watch Elio after this. I'd just spend the whole movie thinking what it could've been.

I think Leglock at Greenside George St has to be my #edfringe fave.

Didn't expect a cage fighting play to capture my heart! Launching with incredible energy & humour we watch James' true feelings on his career slowly unwind.

Lovely end to last night with Sense, a musical about dementia.

Beautifully poetic, with rich characters whose stories unwind over the course of the hour, things unsaid slowly revealed.

Until Fri 22 Aug @ 11pm #edfringe

I'm prioritising new shows this #edfringe, but lovely to see The Nature of Forgetting is back!

Had to be one of my top 3 shows from 2017. Stunningly beautiful physical theatre about early onset dementia with a gorgeous score underpinning the story.

An absolute must if you haven't seen it before!

Especially on the #edfringe website as people look at these when considering buying tickets. A couple positive reviews on there can make all the difference!

Lyn Gardner on theatre's uphill battles at Edinburgh Fringe Between inclement weather, squeezed budgets and clashing schedules, staging theatre at the 2025 Edinburgh Fringe feels tougher than ever, says Lyn Gardner

Interesting article from Lyn Gardner on small #edfringe theatre audiences. Seems the issue could be taking a risk on the unknown.

But I think there's a solution. As theatregoers if we see something brilliant we need to shout about it. So get posting your recs!

A truly heartwarming 1st #edfringe show for me seeing new musical 'I'm Autistic'.

Interwoven stories show the complexity of the autistic experience through 3 focal characters, sweet songs and tight vocal harmonies. Beautiful and touching.

Ofcom, stop GB News broadcasting hate *CW: Homophobia, hate speech GB News is no stranger to spouting hatred and toxic lies. They take pride in it, and pretend the rules don’t matter. But they do. And they must be enforced. On 22 January, Josh Howie, one of their presenters, repeated a dangerous homophobic slur that links the LGBTQ+ community to paedophilia. You can watch the video here. It’s clearly illegal to stir up hatred by broadcasting a poisonous myth. Like GB News, Howie thinks he’s above the law. But he’s wrong. And we’re going to show him how.

Vile + abhorrent to hear Josh Howie suggest a link between the LGBTQ+ community and child sexual abuse.

This cannot go unchallenged! Please add your name to the Good Law Project complaint to Ofcom.

Divine Noise | Jack Dryden β€’ Fringe Theatre Producer A play about tinnitus and the things we do to ignore reality. By Otis Waby. Divine Noise is supported by Arts Council England and Deafinitely Theatre.

Hi Nicky, I work on plays too and currently seeking funding for a play about Tinnitus (see jackdryden.uk/divine).

I am a part time producer though so limited in how many projects I can take, and to be very honest pretty much at that limit for the next little while. But always happy to offer advice.
