I dropped them too, I'm the main demographic they want (stay at home, lots of tiny kids). I found everything cheaper and better quality elsewhere. Baby meds at a local non chain drug store, diapers at Aldi, etc. they opened the door to show me out and I left, and found long term alternatives.

It's awful here in the homeschool world. We are homeschooling for medical reasons and are fully vaccinated and finding safe groups to do things with is impossible.
We don't need to have a military capable of the Two War Doctrine. Full stop. It can be reduced EASILY.
I don't blame the people who enlist, if we just shifted the budget to reduce to one war at a time, we could pay for the social services we need, we could pay for proper healthcare & more.
Changing it for the future doesn't change people's survival for now. We are talking about situations we know that people were forced into the military. We don't need to talk cross each other. There needa to be massive reforms and massive reductions, but people have already lived lives.
I think non Americans really can't understand the reality of healthcare here. I barely can.
I know someone who joined entirely to get healthcare for his wife so she wouldn't die. He died in combat 3 years later.
