Win $1M or a car, plus thousands of prizes, if you set Edge as your phone's default browser and do a search
This is a real unprompted system popup I just got from Microsoft Edge on Windows 11, trying to convince me to download its phone counterpart.
EeePC 901 running Mac OS X Snow Leopard in 2009
Before the 12" MacBook, before the 11" MacBook Air, there was the 9" ASUS Eee PC hackintosh, and there were a number of new-to-macOS developers in our community who learned how to develop for iPhone on this very setup, and started their careers from it.

Do I have too many projects on the go at the same time?
Perhaps.
βοΈ New blog post: A Month With OpenAI's Codex
https://highcaffeinecontent.com/blog/20260301-A-Month-With-OpenAIs-Codex
It's been literal *years* since I last posted anything, so you know this is a big deal for me π
Home screen with several hand-drawn notes and sketches
Fullscreen portrait writing view with lorem ipsum text and glassy toolbars
I didn't mention it earlier, but my Apple-Pencil-only notebook app, still just a concept validation test, has been updated for iPadOS 26 and is available through TestFlight. As it's an unreleased app and I don't want to get stuck developing two versions of [β¦]

With that in mind, I'm opening up the current build of @graceapp for iOS and Mac. It's been [β¦]

Reviews keep saying the MacBook Neo puts other laptops 'in its price range' to shame, but it very clearly puts PC laptops four times its price to shame. And that's before accounting for the RAMpocalypse which is going to clip the PC market's wings this year. There's a potential future where [β¦]
The MacBook Neo is such an interesting machine that it coaxed a thousand-word-essay out of me: https://samhenri.gold/blog/20260312-this-is-not-the-computer-for-you/
Huh. I hadn't heard this previously, but Digital Foundry say the newly-announced PokΓ©mon Winds and Waves games are using Unreal Engine 4

Virtually every Mac app already has an MCP built-in that's going to waste because Apple wants to rebuild it all with App Intents instead
Tech YouTubers are out here searching for apps on their MacBook Neo, finding the iOS versions, and, because they can't install them, thinking they don't work on macOS or the Neo.
(Said apps do have Mac versions only available from the developer's website)
Rather than point fun, this highlights [β¦]

I spoiled myself by playing the original too early, before they had finished the story, so I'm really looking forward to going in fresh again

Crimson Desert looks kinda incredible β like a modern triple-A steampunk/fantasy take on Breath of the Wild. This could honestly be a sleeper hit like Baldur's Gate 3, which really only ramped up the excitement right before launch

Big 'Dropbox is a feature not a product' energy
There's really no benefit to something like a reMarkable compared to a nanotexture iPad. I was surprised just how close the textured feel is for drawing, despite the nanotexture not being intended for that purpose. If iOS only included some kind of focused app mode to 'turn off' most of the rest [β¦]

MacBook Neo is /very/ pretty; I haven't held a MacBook Air recently, but I'm surprised how thin and light and portable this is. It's much more akin to an 11" iPad than the 13" I have
I think part of the problem is being able to use LLMs with confidence in a greenfield codebase, vs being afraid to break anything in an established app. I am far less likely to ask it to do big things in my apps, and I'm far more likely to back out any changes it does make for fear of the [β¦]
