Where's the comic? I wanna read!
Sketches of a robot fully covered in clothing to hide its mechanical body, and without the clothing for its full body. The clothing is bulky and loose, including a sack over its head with two eyeholes carved out, Γ la Scarcrow from Batman. The robot is a classic android shape, with a glass face plate that has two eye lights. Various faceplates sit over a black chassis It lives in an isolated hut so people assume itβs a weird woodsman. Comically, people will attack/shove it and it doesnβt move, and then it remembers it should move and has delayed reactions. It doesnβt eat/sleep and that freaks people out. The companions of the robot assume the poor thing has mental issues and keep trying to convince it to take care of itself. If anyone does catch a glimpse of its robot body they assume its armor. It pulls out a gun eventually and the companions are like ???? wtf is this sorcery. The gun gag is the main inspiration for this story, I think itβs such a funny image!
Sketches of the heavily clothed figure and a young girl. The sketches imply a parental relationship: One is a Spiderverse meme redraw where the robot ponders something and the little girl imitates it. Another shows the robot looking out at something, and the little girl looks up at the tall robot with a calm smile as it talks. The third sketch is the two running from something, the robot holding the girlβs hand The usual plot for the daydreams is itβs a cop/enforcer from ~2050 that accidentally got transported back in time and really, really misses its wife and kid. Has a video clip of a birthday party itβll play on repeat when itβs alone. And it leaves its hut to help some young girl who really reminds it of its daughter, then it gets dragged into the whole adventure of Defeat The Bad Guy
Sometimes I daydream to fight scene music about a robot that time travels back to medieval times and disguises itself. Lore ramblings in the alt!
A young girl smiles as she holds up a hand of playing cards and stands before a plywood wall littered with defaced "WANTED" posters and signs for something called "The Rig Casino". A graffiti crown is painted on the wall above her head. The comic title, DECK, is written at the bottom.
A bloodied man speaks, looking to the ground. "We used the ledger at the blockade. If we knew our shit got mixed up with you Rigs'--" "There was no ledger." An accusatory voice interjected. "...O-okay, yeah," the man continues, shaking as he looks up at his captor, who just placed a hand on his shoulder, "so maybe we WERE a little lucky, but, just--" He panics and takes a closer look at the room around him, one littered with bodies. "Listen, man, our guys didn't open the damn thing?" "Then who did?" His captor asks, his voice calm. "S-some asshole the newsstand sent over. A contractor. He saw your shipment a-and got PISSED. He let loose whatever was in it." He continues, snapping his head back to his captor with a pleading look. "We-we tried to get it back, but-- t-this contractor guy, he TURNED on us. Helped it escape."
Acer punches a wall immediately behind Twin. Upon realizing he's still alive, Twin retorts, "whoa, dude. Temper. What if you had actually hit me?"
Hello and happy #WebcomicDay to all who celebrate!!
My story is Deck, a screentoned manga-esque comic about a city poised to restart a failed revolution, and a kid caught up in the middle of it as she makes the city her home. It's rated PG/PG-13.

Yeah, @jimmygaspero.bsky.social is my co-host and a ride or die friend so Iβm predisposed to be supportive however I honestly did not expect this book to be THAT good. I often lament books targeting a kids demographic to not respect how smart they are. This does. Get your pre-orders in.π«
Started Storm Vol 2. Anyone who read my boy @ayodelemurewa.bsky.socialβs Akogun: Brutalizer has of the Gods should have expected a Thunder God showdown. Love this series.
It may be harder but it's worth it.
Can you build a successful podcast platform talking about indie comics, you can. Is that harder than focusing on Marvel and DC projects, yes it is, much harder. Help us promote indie comics and their creators. Subscribe to the YouTube channel.

I think most cis people have no experience with trans people and are only seeing the media propaganda. Thats why I give money to Assigned Media.

Magni the Mighty needs your help. We have 6 days to raise $2500 β which is a monumental ask β but I believe in this project and want to see the book in as many hands as possible. Weβd need 41 backers at $60 per person, or more at less. If you support indie comics, please consider our campaign.
I had a blast talking #comics with Rob. Check out my interview with him below! #indiecomics #indie #ComicsSky
We use Kanopy, Nebula, Shudder and Dropout. But aside from those, we have no major streaming services in our household.
Your favorite artists and YouTubers have Patreons. Yes, you will have to do without a new DC Superhero film. No Sonic 4 either, Im afraid.
But this is how you make THEM pay.
