General problem with any vaguely left-leaning social media is the inability to accept that victims can be perpetrators and that doesn't excuse their actions.

It's this black and white thinking that keeps people trying to justify why their faves are *different* actually! Because victim = innocent.

I still vividly remember how Dragon Age: Inquisition paints the chantry as these complaining old ladies who are ultimately non-threatening and powerless despite all the evidence to the contrary.

If the chantry had been made of men, I don't think the writers would let them off the hook like that.

Dragon Age's inability to point fingers at the chantry for designing the whole mess is always funny.

Lowkey, I feel it's misogyny that kept the chantry from ever facing accountability (I say this as a chantry lover, I love that fucked up institution but it would be nice if they faced consequences).
