I'm cross stitching while listening to Prince (as one does), and "Damn U" is one of his underrated ballads. A timeless smooth jam, IMO.

Watching a random episode of Gilmore Girls. Was never a dedicated fan when it originally aired & now I remember why. They're insufferable, especially Luke.
Lol sorry! Into The Groove.
Crazy For You is my favorite but Dress You Up is my 3rd. I have the 12" remix that I put on to twirl, leap, gyrate and toe tap my way through my apartment on bad days. Always good times.
I wish the town of Schitt's Creek actually existed, and I could live there.
Once waited for friend at a casino bar as that's where the Bruins game was on TV. Bartender said I have to play a game to sit there. Quick tutorial later, I plunk a quarter in for Keno, play fav players' jerseys & immediately won $268. π€·ββοΈ
I'm so sorry for your loss.
Thanks for this. The "For Love Or Money, Part 1" episode mentioned was my introduction to Earth, Wind, & Fire. I was 9 yrs old & mesmerized by "After the Love Has Gone". It is in my Top 5 of all-time favorites, and to this day, I hear it & think, "Poor Bailey."
My beloved Dad told me (I think I was 18 at the time?) "You know the expression, 'don't sh*t where you eat'? Yeah, don't fu--fornicate where you work either."
Both funny and useful advice.
It was the thing I needed to finally pull the blinders off, get my head out of my ass, and accept that those men, that league, are willful, deliberate trash. I finally grasp that this sport I love LOATHES me.
Someone served me lavender ice cream once, and I simply don't have the BS personality to even pretend that I was going to dip a spoon in it.
I watched it once with my dad so thos watch is going to be real emotional for me. But worth it.
Added GET LOW and FALLING DOWN to my list this morning.
Happy Birthday, Ms. Bev! Your radiance will always be ageless.
"But to cry in front of YOU? That's the worst thing I could do." Ack! π₯Ίπ
"Do you really want it?"
"Yeah!"
Oh, it's definitely going to be my 'dance in the kitchen as I clean song' this evening.
So he has humiliated her privately and NOW on a world stage.
Run fast, run far, dear lady.
Another classic I've never seen but will get to do so on the big screen!
There are teeth cleanings more exciting than this game has been.
Did I watch a commercial of toilet bowls singing, "Against All Odds"? For hydration powder?
When they played Denver 2 weeks ago, I actually shouted at the TV for someone to put a coat on that boy.
Oh my word. This hurts.
My 1st note on this game today for NE is to say that I watched our Bruins struggle to breathe in Denver last October. All my who'd-have-thought? maternal instincts activated.
It isn't snowing yet where I am in Denver, but the bitter cold is here. Normally it wouldn't bother me, but considering we were thisclose to being the tropics a week ago, the cold ain't the only one bitter now. π₯Ά
I know him from so many roles. Wonderful character actor, but for me, I adored him in Dharma & Greg.
What a beautiful post. And in the light & spirit of it, tonight I offer, "Holding On And Letting Go" by Ross Copperman.
Gorgeous!
