'Sirāt' Review - Hypnotic, But Hollow Oliver Laxe’s Sirāt feels like it wants to be an odyssey, but it’s the kind of journey that leaves you more exhausted than enlightened.

Sirāt is fascinating in its hypnotic beauty, but sadly not much beyond that. I really couldn’t get into this oneβ€”it’s one of those movies you either love or don’t. Not really my cup of tea, unfortunately. Gorgeous to look at, though!

i have a feeling the bride! might end up being a jennifer’s body situation. i’m pretty sure it even had the same cinemascore. i remember loving that movie when a lot of people around me hated it. now my friends love it and it blew up with gen z. i’ll happily ride that same wave with the bride! lol

I absolutely adored The Bride so much. Growing up, I was always fascinated by the Bride, wondering who she really was beyond that brief moment in the 1935 film. This movie finally gives her that life.

#TheBrideMovie is the film I’ve dreamed of since falling for The Bride of Frankenstein as a kid. Jessie Buckley and Christian Bale burn with raw energy, every frame electrified. Costumes, cinematography, atmosphereβ€”pure, dark magic. Movie of the year πŸ–€

Every Republican president in my lifetime has picked a war based on a lie when his favorability rating started to tank.

America has never been the shining city on the hill. We've been the land from whence monsters come in the night to drop bombs and fire on children and innocents.

my heart aches for all those little girls ripped from this world, all because some orange fuck cares more about power and money than human life. it’s horrifying, and honestly, it’s shameful to be an american

it’s always about the shareholders, never the art. this paramount/wb deal will go down as the most disastrous, soulless moves in hollywood history. it’s bigger than just movies. this is going to cause damage in ways we can’t even fully see yet. scary stuff

27.02.2026 16:52 πŸ‘ 0 πŸ” 0 πŸ’¬ 1 πŸ“Œ 0

honestly, if this deal with paramount/wb goes through I'll never cover anything from them ever again

I know it’s not going to be for everyone, and there is valid criticism to be had, but I had a blast with it. It reminded me of being a teenager reading the book for the first time, it captured that feeling so well.

Hope you enjoy it! Excited to hear your thoughts 😊

A Family Show the Quiet Storm of Growing Up in the Shadows of Divorce There’s a strange kind of quiet ache that lingers after watching A Family. Mees Peijnenburg’s film doesn’t rush toward drama or sensationalismβ€”it doesn’t need to. Instead, it sits gently in the rooms,...

A Family quietly captures the world of kids caught in the middle of divorce. Nina and Eli navigate love, loyalty, and loss with heartbreaking honesty. Tender, intimate, and unforgettable. #Berlinale
