Sometimes I feel like the best case scenario is to have a bunch of people run his independence and then caucus with the Democrats. Because there are a whole lot of people in this country that will not vote for someone just because a D is after their name. It’s a branding issue, not a policy issue.

This is true. But they aren’t the White House. The WH is a bunch of children, and have no sobriety about the serious business of war.
A wise administration wouldn’t start another war in the Middle East.
A competent administration wouldn’t bomb an elementary school full of children on day 1 of the war they started.
They are neither.
It looks like the war on Iran is going about as poorly as the regime’s previous wars against Chicago, Minnesota and Los Angeles.
