It's okay, Kira, it's just a massively loud thunderstorm. (Ed.: This one is justified. It was incredibly loud, and she already doesn't like Outside Noises. If the wind rustles the trees too much she's glaring at the windows.)
It's okay, Kira, the guy next door is contractually obligated to slam his truck door as loudly as possible when he gets home.
Many things have startled Kira over the years, from reasonable things like fireworks to less common things like the music on the TV changing. Here, I will post some things we've assured Kira of in the past, and new ones going forward.
