J'ai hésité à poster ça en plot twist final, la tentation était grande.

He was also invited to the party celebrating the sale of the millionth PlayStation in France in July 1997. Sadly, he passed away of a heart attack one year later.
A few years later, as former game journalist Grégoire Hellot tells in this video (at 1:31:07), he used to phone the team of the magazine Joypad to get some tips on games like Secret of Mana, that he played in Japanese grey import.
In 1987, he visited the computer fair "Festival de la micro", tried some arcade cabinets and hosted a competition on the game California Games.
Yves Mourousi was also a gamer: in 1984, he said he owned an Atari 2600, a ColecoVision, and an Intellivision, he liked Donkey Kong and Frogger, and he had a soft spot for Ms. Pac-Man (source in next post). He was also featured in the very first issue of Tilt magazine in 1982:
Yves Mourousi was known for his husky voice, his legendary "Bonjour" and his laid-back manners (he interviewed the French president François Mitterrand sitting on his desk). Here you can see him in 1987 interviewing Motörhead on the TV set before their playback performance of "Built for Speed".

After Igor: Objetivo Uikokahonia (1994), Pendulo began work on an enhanced PC remake for Infogrames in the mid-90s. The project was cancelled due to publisher issues, but its engine later fed into Hollywood Monsters.
