The demo for my brother's #indiegame Valerie is (finally) out on Steam!
Obviously gonna be a little biased in recommending this, but if you want a mostly-chill 2d platformer with some fun movement and mechanics then give it a try :~)

Following the departure of Doug Bowser, a suspiciously familiar figure is reportedly stepping into the role of President of Nintendo of America.

The level of trust in this stuff is kinda absurd, but if it sounds right etc...
I do wonder if you can "fix" it with some very specific text on your website or something, but doing that for the sake of an AI that'll probably make extra stuff up anyway probably ain't worth the effort.
A screenshot of Google Bard (2.5 Flash's) output to the prompt "Can you give me a summary of the youtuber Jeff Geerling's career?" reading as follows: Jeff Geerling is a developer and content creator known for his work in programming, DevOps, and open-source communities, particularly with Ansible, Linux, Raspberry Pi, and Drupal. He has a popular YouTube channel and has authored several books. Geerling's career includes working in programming and DevOps for companies with thousands of servers. He also manages infrastructure for Midwestern Mac, LLC. His work specializes in application scalability and performance, and he is deeply involved in open-source projects. His YouTube career started in the late 1990s, but he didn't dedicate significant effort to the platform until the global pandemic. He gained popularity with his live-stream series "Ansible 101" and videos about building a Kubernetes cluster with Raspberry Pi computers. His content often focuses on topics like home servers, Raspberry Pi projects (including building clusters), and self-hosting.
They'd at least get the facts about their own platform correct, right? π
I'm almost ready to release the Steam demo for my #indiegame, Valerie. Here's the trailer!
It's a 2D adventure that mixes lively retro-inspired platforming with a personal story.

Cerb pet #7... Starting to doubt the alleged 1/3000 droprate ngl
#OSRS
Going full circle... First pet after maxing is a duplicate of the first ever one I got ~10 years back
#OSRS
Actually ran into Ash at a local pub a couple months back and the state of That Site came up, didn't sound like he had much reason to use stuff outside of Discord these days.
Monkey's paw on getting "the whole osrs community" as well... :')
Now I can do other stuff (in runescape) at Tea Time :)
Almost a decade on from maxing in RS3, finally done it in #OSRS as well.
But this time I got to keep my untrimmed hp cape :)
Not done an #OSRS update in a bit oops, basically just chipping away at the last few skills for max at this point...
Oh yeah, that was a good one. Was gonna rewatch it a while back but just... Didn't for some reason?
... Anime's kinda neat I guess :)
Feels like I've been watching less new stuff recently compared to ~10 years back. And there's more than a few ones that aren't on here of course (How am I supposed to shill Katanagatari smh)
Stars for "I will nag you to watch this, probably"
I was nice knowing you(r productivty) o7
Technically an option I guess, but long-term I think just waiting out the possiblity of it being a thing on the 2 might be the way to go π€
With how good the Switch 2's screen is I'm hoping and praying for Plex(/alternatives) on the thing one day.
Some kind of pc remote desktop functionality would be nice as well but uh, I don't have high hopes on that one :')
Please no, spent the past 8 years building up a collection of those fancy BenQ monitors with HDMI passthrough and they're all only 60hz :')
Gotta wonder why Nintendo decided to use fingerprint magnet plastic on the front of the Switch 2 dock though, especially when the joycons are perfect :')
Yeah, the things I've tried so far have been more than impressive honestly. There's gonna be some very lucky patient people out there who now get to save more than a few hours in load times (and get consistent framerates) for their first BotW/TotK runs either way...
Told myself I was buying it for Mario Kart, but it's definitely more "I don't trust this thing to not get an absurd price increase/stock issues down the line thanks to World Eventsβ’" FOMO purchase.
Held off on the OLED Switch 1 so it's nice to have a much better handheld experince at least :')
Few hours in on Mario Kart World and yeah, this game's kinda fun I guess
@shindigs.bsky.social Relevant for you maybe? Dunno if you're getting a Switch 2 but I feel like you'd find some way to make use of this for Contentβ’
Update, I'm happy to report that this works!
You can send any camera or video feed to the Switch 2 from your pc via a capture card.
Also a way to screenshare pc games to your friends over the (crunchy-quality-low-fps) Nintendo call/chat system as well, if you want to do that :)

Pretty much as close as it could have been, 30 attempts for the final sigil!
Fancy fashionscape armour acquired!
(at the cost of like 50-70m in supplies/contracts/death costs but let's just ignore that)
