Deutsche Grammophon's streaming service Stage + has the worst usability you can imagine. It is a hell finding stuff there. For example, good luck finding Beethoven's string quartets there. The initial search says 18 results, but when you select Show all, it's down to 1. Very unprofessional!
Be kind.

“Look how successfully opposition to child killing has been made to seem like extremism. The propaganda [is] breaking the mechanisms people use to process moral information. When reality itself becomes contested territory, systematic killing becomes just another political disagreement.”

Ellen Gulbranson (1863–1947) - “an awkward Norwegian farm girl, [that] became one of Cosima’s fnest creations. Arriving in Bayreuth with little or no experience, she launched her career as Brünnhilde. After each season she returned to her farm, leaving only to attend the next festival.”

It seems only to be produced in 2026(?), or have I misunderstood?
The 2026 Bayreuth Festival will feature revivals of Tcherniakov’s Der fliegende Holländer and Scheib’s Parsifal. These are likely to be overshadowed by the Festival’s first-ever production of Rienzi and a new staging of The Ring - created with the help of AI www.wagneropera.net/bayreuth/bay...
Listening to Mahler 9 with Herman Scherchen - a really bizarre recording - as I am looking through photos of my garden.
A very bad orchestra & singers butcher Wagner. On the wall, a picture of the composer with his fingers in his ears.
I adore this James Ensor drawing from 1902: "In the Conservatory". Richard Wagner stops his ears as the "Ride of the Valkyries" is butchered.
