I try not to give 1⭐️ reviews. But this was
Awful. Paced like a bad soap opera, very little of substance actually happens. Things are set up and nothing is done with them.
Horror is no where to be found, and the ho hum reaction of characters to supernatural events takes away any punch.
Mam that newest episode of #ThePitt hurt.
Still, very solid episode.
Dont you just love living in a hyper capitalist country where corp interests and profits are the only concern.
Man, if you thought Twitter was bad, Facebook is somehow even worse.

Takes a more clinical approach like in Andromeda Strain, and Crichton still gets lost in showing off how well researched he is, and the prose can suffer.
Still, a cathartic read even if the action scenes dont fully translate.
Finished #LostWorld by Crichton. Solid 3 out of 5. Not as good as Jurassic Park. It suffers from two long winded, cold characters in Malcolm and Levine.
But the story shines with Harding and Thorne.
Harding is a strong female character, and vast improvement over Sattler.

Very good. Crichton does his usual deep research but with a gripping story.
Changed a lot for the movie, but still a very good read.

Going back through #StarTrek Next Generation has been a treat. Really found its stride in season 2. Nice to revisit this great show.

Another solid read from James Markert with "All Things Bright and Strange." Really captures small town southern life, and blends it with a grounded supernatural element. Also a nice little tie in to Angel's Share.
