Also at some point we seem to have decided politicians have no persuasive powers and no ability to bring any voters with us. Instead we must morph ourselves to mirror our voters.
Most of whom, these days, are not Liberal Democrats.
This will not make one tiny iota of difference in the voting calculations of those voters. It is going to piss off Liberal Democrats and make us look stupid though.
Like, seriously, won’t do anything on the rise of racism, transphobia, homophobia. But the great British public choose in a consultation to take Churchill of our notes and we ride at dawn.

But, there is so much potential in what the FC could do, so I hope in another cycle or so, the worst of the dross will have left the party having realised their political home lies elsewhere and it can grow into a really good scrutiny body.
Really very good from Mark. I’m likely not restanding to the FC for similar reasons - my energy can be better spent in Scotland without having to engage with any of the (very) small group of emotional vampires & wreckers that dwell on the FC.
