They rested their case earlier & closing arguments begin on Monday. Judge sent jury home for the weekend this afternoon.
Some of the witnesses were less than knowledgeable, often conflicting & all together inconsistent in terms of reliability, however, Lead Detective Jeff O'Driscoll was thorough & left no stone unturned. Surprised today by Defense Atty move to call no witnesses on behalf of Kouri Richins.
KOURI RICHINS CASE UPDATE: The prosecution and defense rested their cases, and Kouri waived her right to testify. The jury has been dismissed until Monday, as attorneys work to prepare for closing arguments.
