if anyone tells you โactually its more complicated than you can understandโ they should be fed feet first into the rent seeking machine
a brilliant โHans, are we the baddies?โ moment in this article on huge increases in veterinary services prices

boob hypnotist and the greens too. they see only what they want to see.
theyโre like everyone else, but with more anger and more smashing things up.
until we reckon with productivity and housing nothing will change.
What Iโve found remarkable is the basically universal journalist contempt for him. Almost to the level of it being unprofessional. Seems to be a heuristicโฆ you donโt get that universal response without being a genuine shit.
itโs not about what and how, itโs about *why*. and you better make that why recursive? why that why?
there will be much alpha in maintaining and pruning a zen garden in the era of chaotic AI growth. many people will be vibe coding total shit that will outgrow their ability manage it.
elite coding is already defined by organisational social skills and performant, flexible and maintainable architecture. โwriting codeโ is now the bare minimum.
what a Pahlavi eh
honour?
must have been a clerical error
I remember when you spent 5 hours creating art for the game, Nick
itโs remarkable just how many of his supporters and protรฉgรฉes end up thrown under the bus, just as they think theyโre important. and thereโs always a young lickspittle ready to take up the cursed mantle
you missed one important detail: fuck over people who carried water for you
the writers once again demonstrating their ability to be both universally controversial and surprisingly deep
rather oddly the South Park episode where Cartman decides to imitate Tourette somehow gets it more right than wrong; he ends up in deep anxiety over being unable to control his tics, which is pretty accurate
yes heโs a newspaper columnist. His writing is to entertain as much as to make a point.
What do you disagree with that he said?
My point is very simple. If we are not prepared to show the disability at its most disabling, then we are censoring it.
my point remains: his preference and anticipation aside, the answer cannot be found in censorship for a disability.
Itโs the difference between preparing with a ramp and pretending the inaccessible steps donโt exist for a wheelchair user.
This is a failure of coordination and planning with him.
Any censorship is otherwise about pixelating disabilities society finds too offensive to endure.
Cool Iโll just pixelate myself for you because my disability is too offensive

itโll be rich boomers installing reversible heat pumps to get air conditioning in the summer first, you mark my words
thatโs ultimately what a lot of people wanted out of this. hiding a disability because it was too offensive for them. which is fine apparently.
of all people I think Jeremy Clarkson has actually got it the most right on the BAFTA/Tourette story
โIf they took it out? That would be disablist. Itโd be like pixelating someoneโs wheelchair.โ

what would Zach Polanski do?
there is so much more work to be done
so weโre all in favour of inclusion of Tourette, except if itโs offensive, in which case you should be muzzled
like do you not see how this is a completely contradictory position couched in โinclusiveโ language
