yeah I'm curious if there are differences in the "already studied" multitasking and the context switching with coding agents. I bet there's going to be more research on that soon

I'm not sure whether we should consider "context switching" a skill. There is simply too much evidence that multitasking slows you down, distracts you, and drains your brain. For example, see this article: thereader.mitpress.mit.edu/how-multitas...
I've been thinking about getting my own server for a while now, so I can host some things myself. Today, in just 2.5 hours and no prior knowledge, I went from zero to setting up a VPS with Ubuntu, Coolify, and FreshRSS, filled with all my previous feeds. Love the amazing UX of @coolify.io β¨

I learned about the 17th and 18th c. era of Romanticism yesterday. But I can impulsively initiate 21st century Romantic Resurgence within that time, I have that right. I wrote about it: substack.com/@drrachelbar...
I tried using some more AI for specific tasks, but too often it just left me feeling mentally exhausted. When I have a clear vision of what I want and the AI produces slop, it feels like playing a slot machine which is just frustrating and draining π°
Congrats to @gruntled.bsky.social and @svelte.dev for becoming leaders in o11y support in ESM frameworks!
Super happy to see what I talked about at Svelte Summit becoming reality. Thanks for letting me help out out a bit along the way!
Full @sentry.io support is already WIP and will ship soon!
Wrote something about how the Sentry SDKs handle routes with parameters (fun fact: there are 4 different ways to spell parametrization)

π Water Moon - Reality/fantasy blend with philosophical depth. βThe worst thing about choices is that you have to live with themβ really stuck with me. Slow burn but incredible payoff with the ending.
πͺ Blood Over Bright Haven - Couldnβt put this down! Magic-powered tech advancement meets harsh social commentary on oppression & institutional corruption. The ethical dilemmas around progress at any cost felt painfully relevant to todayβs AI discussions.
Tapping into the fantasy genre after reading a lot of non-fiction and science fiction. Can really recommend those books!!

We have an open SDK engineering role at Sentry in Vienna: sentry.io/careers/396c...
Would you like to work on Sentry's JS SDKs in Vienna with the amazing team I'm part of?π§βπ»
We currently have an open role (bonus points if you are already familiar with observability or OpenTelemetry): sentry.io/careers/396c...
Feel free to drop me a message in case you have questions π
Gave a talk about observability in ESM today @viennajs.bsky.social and I just love those illustrations π
We are thrilled to announce our April meetup in collaboration with VueJS Vienna with impressive lineup

- Sigrid Huemer @bitsbysigrid.bsky.social
Sponsored by @dynatrace.com and @nx.dev
While ESM is awesome, we're still missing a user-friendly approach for observability instrumentation. The ecosystem needs a standard way to instrument ESM modules without friction. I summarized the challenges and potential solutions here: github.com/getsentry/es...
I wrote a guide on what cloud infrastructure providers and meta-framework authors would need to implement to make observability instrumentation work in ESM. See: github.com/getsentry/es...
