Nerdy advocate for static websites and the tools that build them. Inveterate supporter of the Oxford comma. Old enough to remember when Americans were proud to be anti-fascist. Admitted Apple fanboy — don’t judge — but also very pro-Linux.

New from 404 Media: Proton Mail, the privacy-focused email service, gave authorities data that let the FBI unmask an anonymous 'Stop Cop City' protester. It was payment data linked to the anonymous email account. From that, FBI ID'd them, then tracked their movements www.404media.co/proton-mail-...

GitHub just silently cancelled all our outgoing sponsorships from @voidzero.dev - not sure what happened.

I just manually re-sponsored everyone we were sponsoring.

Some HTTP/3 content falls back to HTTP/1.1 · Issue #604 · ZenPrivacy/zen-desktop Description With Zen active and the browser accessing a page that is delivered via HTTP/3 --- for example, https://cloudflare-quic.com or https://http3check.net/ --- some but not all of the page’s ...

Further follow-up: I thought about it and have reinstalled Zen (now 0.18.1), reproduced the behavior once more, and filed an issue. I hope this helps your efforts — assuming that it’s not just some weird PEBKAC on my part, that is.

Yep, knew it was something you couldn’t help, but search engines surely don’t make things easy for you dev folks — especially now, when even searching for `+"Zen privacy"` **still** brings up more mentions of the Firefox fork than it does your product! Weird.

Thanks for the kind words! I saw no mention of the HTTP/3 bug in the repo’s docs or issues, so I figured it might just be some weirdness in my own box. 😀 I have removed Zen for now but, if I reinstall it and see this behavior again, I’ll file a bug report.

Nick Fuentes: “The number one political enemy in America is women. … They have to be imprisoned.”

Fuentes, yesterday: “Our #1 political enemy is women because women constrain everything, every conversation, every man, everything. They have to be imprisoned. They are the ones that are hurting the fertility rate. They're the ones making us sympathetic to poor people, which are also brown people.”

You can joke about Pam Bondi’s ridiculous unprofessionalism all you want, but I’m deeply shocked by it: She acts as if she fears absolutely no consequences, convinced that there will be no more political power transfers. — This should shake everyone to their core.

For those who’ve been seeing weird-looking code blocks on web pages due to a bug in the 1Password browser extension...

- A fix is now available for Chrome. (You can trigger a manual update from the extension’s “Manage Extensions” page.)

- As yet, no fix is available for Safari or Firefox.
