I logged into my old Secret World account and was hit by such intense nostalgia that the only thing I could do was hit alt+f4. Memory's a funny thing.

I'm actually trying and failing to think of a lie this despicable and bald-faced. He is a constant stream of bullshit, but a lot is forward facing—future things won't happen. Or stuff slightly hard to verify.

Here, if you know what a Tomahawk is, you know that: fuck no, Iran does not have them.

They don't care about the costs that this will entail, because to a corporation, a future without employees is so immensely preferable to the current era that they will cannbalize everything to realize it.

Every single CEO dreams of a world where all they have to do is write off some vague commands in a half-coherent email to AI agents who will actually run the company. They do not want human employees. This is why they are doing everything to push AI onto us.

Less weird when you consider that the only action a large corporation wants to engage in is rent-seeking. They'll pivot on a dime when the opportunity to extract wealth without providing a service presents itself - which is what we see happening. AI being pushed as a mediator for human reality natch

They found a way to blame us for the Tomahawk strike on Iran while we never received any Tomahawks in the first place

While the money stolen by the Hungarian Orban regime from a legal money transfer to Ukraine has not yet been returned, people are asking if this criminal act will drive up insurance premiums for transfers through this lawless backwater that apparently does not uphold any EU rules.

iranian drones to Russia where North Korean soldiers are deployed wearing Chinese kit, all acting in concert to subdue a regional neighbor. I'm not saying there's a hivemind, but these are clearly coordinated activities. No one has sent soldiers to us, for instance.

Hazing or "dedovshchina (дедовщина)" is central to the Russian Army.

It produces terrible men and even worse soldiers. It is a scourge on the army, on Russian society, and on their victims.

Cruelty never makes anyone better, and few enabling environments for it that start playful stay that way.

Caitlin KALINOWSKI over X

I resigned from OpenAl. I care deeply about the Robotics team and the work we built together.
This wasn't an easy call. Al has an important role in national security. But surveillance of Americans without judicial oversight and lethal autonomy without human authorization are lines that deserved more deliberation than they got. This was about principle, not people. I have deep respect for Sam and the team, and I'm proud of what we built together.

OpenAI head of robotics just resigned over company deal with the Pentagon saying…

ask any -illionaire how they really made their cash, and i guarantee the story will contain in some instance the procurement of a large loan that was never paid back.

debt isnt real, and stiffing people what theyre owed is how people grow wealth in reality.

(this is of course an aspect of the inherent moral corruption of a capitalist system)

anyway the man has explicitly stated repeatedly that his ability to play the banks for suckers is one of the reasons he is so goddamn rich. in this case, i believe its smart to follow the presidents example.

"oh thats wrong"

Donald Trump is quite literally one of the richest and most powerful men in the world. i do not give a shit what anyone thinks is ethical in a world where we are ruled by members of a pedophile nazi cabal.

5, 10, 20, even 100k in credit funds; remember that the point of finance is to make sure the sucker is the guy who thinks you're going to pay him back.
