ideally, the reports are true and as the tsar looks for internal scapegoats, the boyars decide its time for a new tsar, though id be leery of relying on Putin fumbling a show of domestic power.
I'd like to imagine that the reports here have a grain of truth to them, but he also has fundamentally fucked himself - he needs to show some sellable version of 'victory' or he risks losing his authority. but obviously we Ukrainians are not going to surrender, so a theory of victory is out of reach
