On International Women’s Day a reminder that my Alice had a mother and a sister and grannies, aunts, girl friends and girl cousins.

They all loved her as a woman.

When the transphobes say they speak for all women and are protecting women and girls, they are wrong.

I’d add Section 28 and AIDS as another generation defining set of circumstances too. Both certainly defined me and hundreds of friends and acquaintances.
