Yeah! I still am, I just wanted a small break from working on the same game so long, so I started Wunder thinking it would be a tiny game about flipping coins but it grew a bit too much 😅

I'm really enjoying building out Wunder and have a full roadmap for early access now, but I can't help but daydream about working on the next Echo game 😅

It's the Catalog anniversary sale atm, and @cheymac.bsky.social wrote a really nice shout out for Echo in their article about it. I think this is one of the big things that pushed it over the edge!

I added rarities to skills the other day while taking a break from enemy updates.

1/3 diamonds = common
2/3 diamonds = uncommon
3/3 diamonds = rare

Now skill reward choices take rarity weights into account :)

I believe! 2019 does feel like a century ago but not every game has to sell a million to be a success.

Just like sharing next fest numbers that aren't mega viral, I wish more folks proudly shared modest success numbers to stabilise expectations

Absolutely agree! It feels like games aren't allowed to grow slowly anymore, a lot of pressure is put on launch.

I'm hoping that good games can still break through the lower than 7k wishlist barrier everyone touts, I could be wrong but I'm hopeful!

It really can be brutal, Wunder did well enough to make me happy but it defo didn't instil crazy confidence in the launch

I hope Mythmatch is a huge success!

Just managed to gold stake my first deck (yellow of course) in balatro yesterday! It's a very good game and I can only hope Wunder can spark some of the same joy in people.

I did the half-marathon on sunday and I did indeed die, 2hr 24mins, not great but a little faster than last year. gonna keep training and hopefully be able to do the distance in under 2 hrs by the end of the year

I haven't felt this relaxed since just after showing Wunder at the comic-con expo.

Next fest was great but I get so stressed around deadlines (shocker I know), not having another one for months feels so nice!

Hell ye!! Absolutely crushing it dude!

But I'll still be pushing updates to the demo as more things get polished! Got so many ideas to make the game better that aren't just "more stuff"!

Next demo update is gonna add a small collection page! After that I'll be shifting focus to early access version for end of april-ish
