Metra 116 on 116 Day yesterday my train home from downtown Chicago. Taken: 1/16/25
Got another unexpected Fakebonnet Leader again. BNSF 705 leads the HGFDBRC Manifest Mixed train as CN 8843 is the rear DPU Nose in. I almost got it at LaVernge but then managed to head down to the BRC Mainline and got a better shot this time thanks to my friend Kern for driving. Taken: 1/15/25
During my visit to MSI yesterday when explaining the Nebraska Zeyphr while you can see and ride the train at IRM. One out of 3 CB&Q Zeyphrs in existence!
Model Train Monday: Just some quick shots of MSIs Great Train Story with BNSF D9s leading which I haven’t seen since I was a kid at least, plus Metra 98 taking a turn doing the Metra train, and a BN switcher as well.
