Your affection for, and inspiring process with, hardware-centric installations, and the equally inspiring translation of that work to software-centric, was really special to witness and hear about. Inspiring to hear about your thinking as we were in development. Thank you for being part of The Zium.

This place, Tower of the Sun, and Tarō Okamoto have been a deep inspiration for many years, and a direct inspiration for The Zium Exposition.

Please visit Expo '70 Commemorative Park in Osaka if you ever get the chance.

Tower of the Sun, designed by the visionary Tarō Okamoto for Expo '70 Osaka, is a magnificent sight to behold, and be in the presence of.

The surrounding gardens are peaceful and beautiful, and in every season. A wonderful way to spend a day. Autumn is arriving at the park, currently.

A pilgrimage to Tower of the Sun today.

As I was leaving, a nice volunteer approached with a form asking how to "attract more international visitors" to the park.

I told her we made a video game inspired by Tower of the Sun... I still filled in the form, but hopefully The Zium Exposition helps.

It is actually quite funny and whimsical but for a moment it was deeply connective to the point of stoicism from my psyche.

So acutely for me (Michael Berto, curator of The Zium) that it's not even funny or whimsical at the level at which I both understood and appreciated this.
