Immigration in Bangkok: Almost two hours this time.

Immigration in Tokyo: 15min. Touchdown to hotel in almost under an hour. I’d say that’s a very good start Japan! 🇯🇵 👏

Your worst customers demand discounts and other special prices. They either aren’t seeing the value, or they’re not building a respectful two-way relationship.

Climbed 1.260 stairs for this view. 🥵

It probably saves us one or two additional engineers, to be honest. Anything that keeps the team small is something I’ll jump on right away 😅

Caveat: Not necessarily „better“ in the traditional sense, but overall speed, code quality and number of bugs improved significantly. Making the process smoother and the product better, faster.

Is “guy who takes pictures of boats” a valid career path if appointmed doesn’t work out? 😅

Left my Macbook behind for the first time in ~16 years for this trip.

Feels weird, but deserved after grinding this long with only a few days off at a time. First multi-week break ever since going full-time on my own almost 20 years ago. 👴🫠

It’s been a wild ride ever since.

This week we hit 10 years. It’s been one hell of a journey, full of wins, devastating setbacks, and everything in between.

Hard to believe we made it here and excited for what’s next. 🍰 🍾

Two days at the spa with the entire company is great way to kick off the new year. 🧘‍♂️
