Kaveh is walking towards a bench, his shoulders slumped and his expression upset, Mehrak follow him from behind. Text says: "I spent the whole day trying to find the chosen one. MEHRAK IS SO DONE

“I talked to Roya,” he begins. It has Kaveh instantly raising an eyebrow, but he waits for his roommate to continue. “She believes, and I agree with her, that it is high time for you to consider moving out of here.” The sunlight stills. The leftover warmth in Kaveh’s fingertips dissipates. Alhaitham’s gaze is fixed on his tea, on the leaves floating on a dyed surface inside the infuser. Kaveh feels his voice scrape up his throat, more pain than anger. “Are you kicking me out?” Alhaitham drums his fingers on the cup. “Ours was never a permanent arrangement. Your current situation is stable enough to afford renting a dwelling on your own.” From start to finish, there is no flaw in the reasoning. Alhaitham’s statements are truthful, his logic flawless—Kaveh has indeed saved up enough to stop taking advantage of what littlekindness his roommate is capable of, even though he hoped to gather a little more mora in order to move into a somewhat better place. …That’s what he likes telling himself, anyway. “You’re kicking me out.”

Screenshot of a google doc that reads: Later that night, long after Kaveh's tucked himself away in his room again, he hears Alhaitham come in. The evening is quiet enough that if he closes his eyes, his mind can paint the scene purely off the dampened sounds that trickle in through the walls. Then again, maybe he's just seen the scene so many times that he can play it out with his eyes closed: Alhaitham setting his key in the dish. The thud of Alhaitham kicking off his boots and stepping into his house slippers. The scrape of Alhaitham pulling out a chair at the table. The clink of Alhaitham's silverware as he eats his reheated dinner. The rush of water as Alhaitham does the dishes. Kaveh's lids grow heavier, shut though they already are. He grows drowsy, following the little Alhaithams in his head like oversized sheep putzing around the house. In his half-asleep state, he's only barely aware of the way Alhaitham's footsteps stop in the hallway, but the pause is so long that by the time Alhaitham moves away from his door, Kaveh is already lost to slumber.

Am I allowed to post a WIP when it isn't Wednesday? I'm just really excited about how much progress I've made on this fic! Hopefully I'll have another #haikaveh fic to share soon~ 💚💛

Entiendo lo que pretende hacer este cartel, pero poner el foco en lo que te afecta A TI la guerra, y no en las muertes de miles de personas no creo que sea el buen take que se piensa.

Que el children's life está al final, y en la guerra mueren muchas más personas inocentes, no sólo les niñes.
