No Fucking Way Dude.
No Fucking Way Dude.
Definitely recommend it if you have like 9-10 hours to 100% it since the true ending is locked behind getting all of a type of collectible
It's more linear than most other metroidvanias since you're basically told where your objective is and the late game map sections are kinda locked behind keys for the most part but it's really, really fun
Oh yeah finished Blade Chimera today, pretty cool game
It's a nice Metroidvania that has a unique and open ended progression system and the combat and exploration systems revolve around a cool demon blade which you can use to create barriers, attack, etc.
The spritework is also super fucking good
Turn it into a live service game
Repost this if Trans people can kill chaos with you (jack garland offering a fistbump)
I like twist villains when done right but I love when they make a character the most rotten, spiteful asshole too
I love his lines the first time you fight him
"I am Lous Guiabern! I am the rightful king, he who will forge anew this unworthy country into a utopia.
Attack in any number. Wield any weapons. But... Fight with your very lives! If you live by a creed, show me it's strength!"
Hardest Atlus boss
Man I fucking love Louis Guiabern, he's such a threatening force from start to finish and there's no twist like "Oh no turns out Louis really was trying to be good the whole time"
He's just a charismatic dickhead who knows he's the final boss
Wanna leave Scott the Woz in Latin America wearing this whiteboard like the sign scene from Die Hard With A Vengeance.
Elden ring just demands a lot more flexibility that I wasn't willing or eager to give to it
But I wanna try and see if it's just me
Also they finally fixed the fucking DLC boss apparently so there's also that
One of my resolutions for this year is, on top of getting more art done again, to try and fall in love with Elden Ring and finally understand it
I feel this game is completely fucking different from kther fromSoft stuff where you can just grab a stick and go through it
Gacha are more than given free reign to wreak havoc on impressionable players, meanwhile games that don't actually include real gambling with real money get dinged because they even vaguely use the aesthetic. What the hell are we doing here?
It's a roguelike that's completely focused on turn based combat but the complexity of fights are based on weird interactions with the enemies
Also a lot of stuff has deranged flavor to it, it's really cool
Decised to try Brutal Orchestra and it's so fucking good dude
The way the mana (pigements) system forces you to take risky decisions and how off-putting and how weird the enemy designs are gives it a really nice atmosphere
Haven't slept

Started pacing around my room because this is maybe the gayest scene Iโve seen in a while.
God's in His heaven, All's right with the world
this has been me playing metaphor for the past week๐
Mementos and those kinda dungeons belong in the trash, I'd rather have shorter, hand made ones

I don't mind the nidia and their eyes but Jin is so fucking off-putting....
