It's a beautiful clear sunny day in Scotland… but it's chilly and the difference in temperature from the sun lit and shady side of the field will be staggering.

There was some great Flash sites that added some chunky motion to this aesthetic… lost to the sand of time.

Fugazi and Albini made the right call, to not use this recording, but it is cool to hear the collab, and even cooler that they released it to support a great charity.

I put down an extra $10 to support the cause. Looking forward to listening this weekend.

It's an interesting time to be listening to Neal Stephenson's "Seveneves".

I'm traumatized by the sock I attempted. I dramatically messed up the heel, it turned out looking like something fitting for another part of the anatomy. I tried to turn it into a puppet, but I couldn't shake what I saw. 🍆

I'll get back to crochet at some point. What for me into knitting is making cables, I think they look neat. I just freestyled this shawl, and once I got to the moss, then ribbed and cables parts, the stocking stich felt off.

New years goal of making a sweater next.

I'll be frogging the bottom of this shawl for a third time, in a forth attempt to get something I like (that doesn't bunch up). I didn't like where I started with the first pass.

Looks great! I love the mistakes I've left in the things I knit. I can tie some of them to conversations I was having at the knit and natter.

That's right around the corner from my office, will check it out. 🫡

After 12 years and editing close to a thousand different writers, I've learned there are two edits that will transform a perfectly pleasant human into a nearly homicidal figure:
- Suggesting that a non-grammatical comma used as a pause could be cut.
- Changing an American's use of "grey" to "gray."

That's awesome! I'm going to need to zoom in on the Party House notes, it's one of the few games I played quite a bit of, but couldn't beat. 😢

I just found out three of my friends: Cat, Kate, and Katie, from my Vampire table top group all have birthdays within a week of each other. 😹😸😻

As someone still kind of new to town, Thanksgiving for sharing this. I need to get out to see more shows. Still figuring out which venues are operating outside of Fringe time.
