Maybe i'm misunderstand here, but aren't we talking about a more advanced adaptive AI. The same kind that's been used since PACMAN and is utilized by nearly every single Npc in computer games. The difference being this has more advanced learning and vocal capabilities.

Heres the issue.
When you walk up to a character and you can only say three programmed lines and receive scripted sentences back its not immersive.
Games like skyrim or now Starfield. It doesnt feel real talking to someone. Even RDR2s setup - line - reply - line - catch you later every single time.
For story games I can see the benefits if used correctly. Seen Ai make skyrim both hilarious but also more immersive. Its the one shortfall of games imo, but not for online pvp. Thats a terrible idea.
