Looking bad for Labour in South London when former Labour mayors of Southwark & Lambeth are voting for us this May.
Welcome to all the many former Labour voters who are voting for us now.

The United Kingdom is at its best when weβre true to our values: tolerance, decency, respect for individual freedom and the rule of law.
We can't let Nigel Farage throw that all away by turning Britain into Trumpβs America.
Choose a brighter future with the Liberal Democrats.
The #Conservatives haven't been a party for centrist & moderate voters for a v long time and - despite recent efforts from the likes of Andy Street & Ruth Davidson - Kemi Badenoch has just made it absolutely clear that they will be continuing down the road of being Reform-lite... [1/2]

Congrats to the Lib Dems for their successful local elections campaign.
Jenrick saying he's "put aside personal ambition" too join Reform is the single most shameless statement I've ever heard.
If he "put aside personal ambition" he'd disappear. That's all there is.
As Robert Jenrick jumps ship, Reformβs βnew politicsβ looks more like a spin cycle for the same people behind 14 years of decline.
If you have any doubt / confusion about what @libdems.org.uk stand for in this age of divisiveness & anger, watch this short 3 minute video. It's mostly made up of what other people, not Lib Dems, are saying about @eddavey.libdems.org.uk and his party...

More than a dozen Labour MPs defied their party whips & voted with @libdems.org.uk in favour of UK rejoining a #CustomsUnion with EU.
As a result, the #LibDems Ten-Minute Rule Bill passed the House of Commons with a majority of one, after the Deputy Speaker cast the deciding vote in its favour.
I've just written to local MP for #WinchmoreHill Kate Osamor asking her to support the backbench motion on reducing noise disruption on domestic fireworks up for debate on Wednesday - posting my email to Ms Osamor on Nextdoor here...

An image depicting a scene from Star Trek: The Next Generation, specifically Captain Jean-Luc Picard and the senior officers of the USS Enterprise-D as they meet in the Observation Lounge adjacent to the Bridge. Above this image a message reads as follows: At its heart, Star Trek is a utopian fantasy about a society so advanced that they are capable of holding productive meetings that last no longer than three minutes.

At tonightβs full council meeting, we have reiterated our commitment to defending the values of modern, diverse and welcoming Sutton against those who seek to divide us.
Cllr Barry Lewis opened the debate with a vision for his grandchildren.
Am not sure what #LibDems position on this would be if Govt went ahead in #UKbudget. But given it's small step towards rationalisation of UK property taxes & would likely create downward pressure on house prices whilst raising billions for the Exchequer, I'm hoping we'd be in favour of such a move.
Good to see @eddavey.libdems.org.uk quoted in @nytimes.com
It's highly commendable that Sir Ed led efforts in Parliament to apply pressure - aiding the King & HM Govt to evict Andrew - doing so without turning serious affair & its victims into a political football.

It's heartening to see how accepted gay men are in professional rugby, even at the very top of the English game. Professional football in England really needs to catch up!

This is tragic. The Conservatives let Britain's health & care services fall apart, and the Labour Government is moving far too slowly! As anyone with close family with care needs already knows, we are at crisis point now - and only the Liberal Democrats have a credible plan to rescue care.
The government say there's misinformation about ID cards.
Yet their core reason doesn't make sense - because ID is already needed for employment, and they say that it won't be compulsory to carry cards....
This is exactly right.
London might not be perfect, but all of the horror stories being pushed by the right are to make people scared, and to try to get us blaming each other, and the people the right hate.
Liberals, 'the elite', foreigners, immigrants, young people, cyclists.
Reject it.
Justice delayed is justice denied and victims have waited long enough.
Read our plan here:
The contaminated blood scandal is one of the gravest injustices in NHS history. Victims have waited decades for justice and theyβre still waiting.
@JessBrownFullerMP.bsky.social the Lib Dems plan delivers fair compensation and lasting reform.
Hina with Ed Davey and loads of London LibDems behind them!
Hina taking a selfie with the crowd of members, activists, MPs and councillors!
What a vibe! Yesterday LondonLibDems held their conference in Southwark College.
The atmosphere was electric!
The @libdemshk.bsky.social will speak up for the capital city, bring communities together & have positive solutions to improve lives. We care about you, your families and your future
We're now on Bluesky (pre-launch)
