Marathon might be a good game if it didnβt insist on blasting extremely close up, high resolution footage of MOTHS into my eyes when loading in to every round.

Not a promising first look for me. Hoping the show is lit better than this.
Holding out hope because theyβve got Naren Shankar as a show-runner and his work converting The Expanse to TV was impeccable.
Sake. The more I look at the keyart now as well?
I saw this Reel and had to give it a follow...
It looks pretty vibey.

Devolver just keeps doing it, donβt they?
In the past Iβve yapped βtil my lungs gave in about how we needed to be more like Devolver.
Not in branding or TOV, but having a niche, a vibe.
You see a game they publish and go βOf course thatβs Devolverβ
Publishers should be more curated.
2 months into my Head of Community job that isnβt directly working in game dev/publishing anymore.
Iβm running a lovely team within a supportive company that operates entirely on understanding community.

My 14-year-old Logitech G500S is finally showing signs that it might not be long for this world
Still from Peep Show depicting 3 young children who taunt an older man in the street
I truly love this trailer. It encapsulates perfectly why I love roleplay, and what it means to so many of us. It's improv comedy/theatre rolled into a virtual world, with boundless potential.
For sure, itβs still very, very Alpha, but for my money, Iβve had a great time with it this year! Different strokes etc!
Itβs an immersive space flight sim. Very early still but you buy ships and go off to make credits in various ways, or goof around with friends. Eventually, and slowly but surely, think incredibly detailed NMS.
Thereβs a fairly decent chunk of stuff to do in terms of job types, full on PvE story mission lines and Iβve never once been killed by a rogue elevator. Itβs way more stable than whatever people played last year tbh.
Planet-side cities are notoriously bad for performance for most people tbh, I'm just about able to get 60-70fps in Orison and Lorville (the two worst culprits) but once you're out of there, it's fine, even on my old 2070S + i7 build at 1440p.
Now on a 9800X3D + 5070TI and it is smoooth.

Star Citizen rocks and I won't hear otherwise.
Now make it voxel-based with banging lighting, a synthy ambient soundtrack, destructible elements and a big bad at the top like the Raid/Dredd. Iβm there.
