I am now up to THREE literary agents who've rejected my query based on the fact that my "platform" is too small (they wrote those words, not me).

(3/4) Shared stew and narrow cots make for terrible executions. But in the Albigensian Crusade, mercy is a luxury.
The prologue ends in a pyre and a curse that nests in the marrow. If "until death do us part" was the goal, they missed by eight centuries.
(2/4) Bound by a vow made in the fires of 1215 AD, Reagon and Seraphina are cursed to lose everything the moment they find each other.
Reagon is a Templar who’s better at masonry than life choices. Seraphina is a "witch" who spends her life force so a village can survive.
While the query trenches for my thriller, NO SUCH THING AS NORMAL, continue to be a delight (sarcasm), I pivoted to 1215 AD.
EVERY LIFE THAT FOLLOWS is a Dark Romantasy about one 13th-century curse, two souls, and 800 years of unfinished business.
