the whiplash i feel when getting multiple positive comments on a vid with a skinny guy with abs to two vids later deleting multiple "obese", and other negative comments when I post characters with slightly more body mass

I'm glad I'm not the only one who feels this way about their ocs. Genderbending can be fun and interesting but sometimes it can also be a detriment to the character, especially if gender is a crucial part of their backstory. for our case race is also a consideration but many don't think about that

If I ever change their physical appearance, I would also change the roles and dynamic of their relationship to be just as interesting and atp it wouldn't be them anymore 😭

Swapping that affects this nuance to the status quo imo. If i ever genderswapped them, it wouldn't be in the way you think it'd be lol they'd have pretty much the same physical appearance but opposite genitals/pronouns. That's the only way I see it working while keeping their personalities.

always been put off about genderbending Damita and didn't know how to explain till now:
Rita being a black coded confident fat woman and is appreciated/ wanted + Damien being black coded intimidating large man but sweet/kind/even submissive(particularly to Rita) is important to both their character
