Performative public lying is a hallmark of far right authoritarian parties
Also, he is what Jake Tapper & Alex Thompson told everyone Biden was. Their silence now is deafening. And damning.
So it does exist - a front loader & a long tail combined. β€οΈ

The chairman of the Board of Peace bombed the Gandhi hospital. Process that.
A United States senator from the president's own party, one who serves on the Select Committee on Intelligence and the Senate Committee on Foreign Relations, has no idea what's going on as America goes to war with Iran.
the bombings will continue until peace improves
We had a deal to keep Iran from getting nukes!
Trump backed out of it because he wanted to own Obama. Iran kept following its end of the deal for a year anyway, begging Trump to reenter the deal.
Trump literally backed out of the no nukes deal and then initiated a war because of nukes. Insanity.

things every single republican president of your lifetime has done
- started a war in the middle east
- completely destroyed the economy
So letβs think about this.
A private company refused - on principle - to yield to the governmentβs demands.
The government then cancelled its contracts with the company and has set about destroying it

#Hoboken has insightful data from our Curb Study report, showing a less pronounced but similar condition on our streets. Although 80% of households donβt drive to work, almost all of our public street space is used for storing cars that are used 1-2x per week.
Pretty wild that @sierraclub.org lets chapters put this stuff on their website
As a rare climate scientist working in Silicon Valley, I've been drinking from the AI firehose a lot more than my peers. I thought it would be helpful to lay out my experiences of both the promise and pitfalls of using AI to accelerate scientific research:

Service has been restored systemwide following an earlier computer network hardware failure.
Expect residual delays systemwide.
Iβm in the same boat, but I guess I could see the logic going either way. I think itβs just as reasonable to vote in favor to avoid further cuts to service, which would likely only exacerbate delays and issues like this.
BART service has resumed between West Oakland and 24th St. Mission. Expect residual delays systemwide as service is re-established.
BART computer outage during rush hour isnβt great! Tons of stranded commuters, and not a lot of clarity. At least my train operator was answering questions. We need to fund Bay Area transit and build a stronger, more resilient system. Further cuts will only make the system more fragile.
BART service has stopped between West Oakland and 24th St. Mission due to an equipment problem on the track. Seek alternate means of transportation.
